For Teachers: New Strategies for a Positive and Happy School
This session has already taken place. The dates below are the next available runs of the same course.
About this course
Positive, productive learning environments are key to students’ academic, emotional and social success — but they don’t happen on their own, teachers create them. This course helps you build a classroom where students feel safe, trusted and motivated to learn. You’ll explore what makes a school genuinely happy — from classroom activities and assessment to…
Methodology
The course introduces a series of concrete strategies — games, trust-building activities, the Positive Actions curriculum — that you can apply directly in your classroom.
The course is built around hands-on activities and games, not theoretical presentations.
Strategies map to the People, Process and Place domains of student and staff well-being, not just classroom mood.
What you'll take home
Apply time-appropriate strategies to build a positive classroom throughout the school year.
Use games and engaging activities to prevent boredom and increase motivation.
Create a classroom culture of trust between students and teachers.
