About this course
This course focuses on enhancing educators’ capacity in sustainability and environmental education, with an emphasis on climate change and Eco-Schools projects. Participants gain the knowledge and skills to integrate sustainability principles into classroom settings through a range of activities and projects, aligned with the European Union’s priorities on sustainability and environmental education.
Methodology
Theoretical sessions are kept to a maximum of one hour per day — most of the time is spent on interactive activities and group work.
Participants develop sustainability and Eco-Schools projects they can implement directly in their own school.
Practical training draws on EU sustainable-education policy and citations from scientific literature throughout the course.
