Sustainable Education: Climate Change and Eco-Schools
This session has already taken place. The dates below are the next available runs of the same course.
About this course
A green corner in the school lobby, a recycling poster, an assembly once a year — plenty of schools have all three and still can’t say whether anything has actually changed. Eco-Schools was built to close exactly that gap: not another awareness campaign, but a structure a school can run and prove is working, year…
Methodology
Theoretical sessions are kept to a maximum of one hour per day — most of the time is spent on interactive activities and group work.
Participants develop sustainability and Eco-Schools projects they can implement directly in their own school.
Practical training draws on EU sustainable-education policy and citations from scientific literature throughout the course.
What you'll take home
Form and run a pupil-led Eco-Committee using the FEE Eco-Schools model.
Carry out an honest environmental review of your own school as the evidence base for action.
Design a monitoring and evaluation plan that proves an action plan is actually working, not just filed away.
Draft and present a complete, curriculum-embedded Eco-Schools action plan ready to bring home.
