Methodology
Byzantine to Contemporary, On Foot
Days 3–4 trace Istanbul's heritage across three layers in one itinerary — Byzantine Constantinople (Hagia Sophia, Chora Church), Ottoman Istanbul (Topkapı Palace, the Grand Bazaar) and the contemporary city (Istanbul Modern, Karaköy) — so participants can teach continuity and change, not a single frozen period.
Digital Tools Workshop, Built From What You've Seen
a dedicated session on virtual tours and interactive materials, using the Istanbul sites from Days 3–4 as the working examples participants take home.
Direct Classroom Transfer
strategies for teaching a multi-layered heritage city, ready to adapt to participants' own students and curriculum.
