Raniero Chelli
Raniero Chelli holds a degree in Physics (1979) and has over 20 years of experience in international projects, with particular expertise in EU-funded Research and Technological Development (RTD) programmes and international cooperation. His career spans both the public and private sectors, including roles as a civil servant with the European Commission, an entrepreneur, a freelance consultant, and a professional trainer specialising in the design of European projects. Between 2000 and 2001, he was responsible for the Research and Development module of the "Eurodesign" Master course organised by the Polytechnic of Turin.
He is currently President of Sophia Research and Innovation, an Italian non-profit association working on EU projects with a focus on advanced training and education, IT applications, and healthcare. He also serves as Senior Project Manager for UNIMED (Mediterranean Universities Union) and has extensive experience in quality control procedures, having been responsible for quality control in two TEMPUS projects.
