Asst. Prof. Adnan Demir

Adnan Demir received his undergraduate degree from Boğaziçi University in TEFL, master's degree from Middle East Technical University in Middle East Studies and Ph.D. from Mersin Çağ University in TEFL. His main research interests include bilingualism, language identity, skills learning & teaching, feedback and psychology of language learning. He is currently an assistant professor of TEFL at Van Yuzuncu Yil University, Türkiye.

Based in Van, Türkiye, he has worked as a teacher trainer for over 10 years, teaching skills courses, testing and assessment, and language acquisition. He has also been teaching exam courses such as IELTS, TOEFL, OET and other proficiency tests. Demir is fluent in English, Turkish, Kurdish, and speaks intermediate Spanish.
