Sahure Nur Üyümez
Sahure Nur Üyümez is a Course Trainer and the Bremen Coordinator for Erasmus Mobility Academy. She is completing her M.Sc. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Bremen, building on a B.Sc. in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Istanbul Medeniyet University. Her background spans both academic and industry research settings in Germany and Türkiye, from cell culture and molecular diagnostics to coordinating R&D projects that translate laboratory findings into practical, real-world applications.
Beyond the lab, Sahure has coordinated nationally funded research projects, mentored junior researchers, and stayed active in science communication and community engagement — as a board member of IEEE EMBS, a volunteer with Istanbul's Women's Employment Support programme, a conference moderator, and a science blogger. Based in Bremen and fluent in Turkish, English and German, she brings a hands-on, STEM-focused perspective to EMA's courses, helping teachers bring digital tools and modern science-education methods into their own classrooms.
