Quality Standards

Before you register for any EMA course, every course page states the course provider’s background (see About Us), trainer experience and qualifications where a trainer is assigned, target audience, prerequisites, learning objectives and methodology, group size, language of instruction, the full content outline, learning outcomes, and the exact dates, duration, location and daily schedule.

All mandatory costs are stated as a single total course fee; optional services such as flights and accommodation are clearly identified as booked separately. Our registration form is a single, transparent online process with no hidden steps. Every EMA course combines short theoretical input with hands-on workshops, case studies, peer learning and group project work, balanced to match participants’ professional context and competence level. Daily group discussions and feedback sessions give participants ongoing, constructive feedback throughout the course rather than only at the end.

Course content is reviewed each season to reflect current European education policy, research and practice, and we use digital tools and blended learning where they add real value before, during and after the in-person course.

EMA courses bring together educators from across Europe in the same cohort, creating space for participants to share practice, build intercultural understanding and form lasting partnerships for future Erasmus+ collaboration. Our course design and trainer team reflect the values and policy priorities of the Erasmus+ programme and the European Education Area.

Every EMA course runs for a minimum of five hours of learning activity per day. Our course centres are chosen to comfortably host the stated group size, meet health and safety requirements, and to be accessible to participants with additional needs — tell us in advance and we will accommodate your requirements wherever possible. After each course, participants complete an evaluation and event survey, and any concern can be raised directly with our team for a prompt, fair response.

After the course, participants receive all materials digitally and in print, join a peer email group for continued idea exchange, and — depending on the course — a follow-up check-in to discuss progress applying what they learned.

Every participant receives a Certificate of Attendance naming the participant, a description of the course and its learning outcomes, the dates, venue, EMA as the course provider and the course trainer. We strongly recommend recording the mobility on Europass.
