Refugees, Migration and Education
This session has already taken place. The dates below are the next available runs of the same course.
About this course
This course addresses the education of refugee and migrant children, framed by the current global displacement crisis. Educators explore international human rights law, cultural awareness and the practical realities of integrating refugee, migrant and minority children into the school environment — building the tools needed to support inclusive, adaptive classrooms.
Methodology
Icebreakers, group discussions and awareness games open each topic before moving into deeper analysis.
A case study and an expert conference presentation ground the course in real, current refugee and migrant education work.
Energisers and team-building exercises run across the week to build trust and open dialogue within the group.
