REFUGEES & MIGRATION AND EDUCATION

Course Description

Description

The world currently faces the critical issue of displaced people from different countries, including Syria, Afghanistan, Africa, and Ukraine. They have to leave their country of origin for various reasons (civil wars, invasion, environmental problems, etc.) Therefore, neighboring countries and other countries faced the burden and challenges of worldwide displacement. Overwhelming crises pose many immediate challenges that should be addressed at different levels. Education is one of them. Through education, the integration of women, men, and children into the hosting society should be fostered. Moreover, inclusive integration policies should be encouraged for the refugee children’s organizational adaptations in the school environment.
