Course Description
This course is designed to help teachers manage the challenges they face in their professional lives, improve their emotional and mental well-being, and offer a more balanced teaching experience through mindfulness-based strategies. Mindfulness techniques and well-being strategies aim to improve teachers’ ability to handle stress, enhance focus, and increase motivation. Participants will learn to apply these skills in both their personal lives and classroom practices, fostering a more conscious and balanced teaching process.
Course Methodology
The course includes hands-on activities, mindfulness-based workshops, and personal mindfulness exercises to ensure active participation from educators. Theoretical lessons will be kept brief, with the remaining time focused on meditation, breathing exercises, and stress management techniques. Group work and individual feedback will support the development of participants’ mindfulness skills.

Day 1: Foundations of Mindfulness and Well-Being

Participants remain silent for 1 minute, observing their mental awareness, and then share their experiences. - What is Mindfulness?
- Introduction to mindfulness techniques and their benefits for teachers.
- Causes of Stress in Teachers
- The impact of stress on teachers and its reflections in professional life.
- Managing Stress with Meditation and Breathing Exercises
- Practical exercises on how meditation and breathing techniques help manage stress.
Day 2: Mindfulness-Based Teaching
- Warm-up Activity: “Mindfulness Circle”
Participants sit in a circle, practice a brief meditation, and then share their experiences. - Mindfulness Strategies in the Classroom
- Techniques for increasing student focus and promoting mindfulness in the classroom.
- Emotional Awareness in the Classroom
- The importance of a mindful approach in teacher-student relationships.

Day 3: Personal Well-Being for Teachers

Day 4: Mindfulness in Classroom Management

- Techniques for creating a calmer, more balanced learning environment using mindfulness.

- Project Presentations and Feedback

Day 5: Conclusion and Cultural Excursion

At the End of the Course
- Participants will receive their certificates.
- Participants will provide a general evaluation of the course and complete the event survey.
- Participants will receive course materials, videos, photos, and PDF documents in both digital and print formats.
