About Job Shadowing

Erasmus Mobility Academy provides Job Shadowing services across diverse regions of Turkey, with a focus on key cities such as Antalya, Istanbul, Izmir, Mersin and Bodrum. Job Shadowing offers participants the opportunity to immerse themselves in the operations of organizations abroad for a designated period. During this experience, participants engage in direct observation and interaction with peers, experts, and practitioners, fostering the acquisition of innovative practices and novel insights. 

Through our Job Shadowing program, participants gain invaluable firsthand exposure to the daily workings of host organizations, cultivating new skills and enriching their professional expertise. Moreover, this initiative serves as a gateway for participants to expand their global networks and gain insights into diverse cultural and professional environments.

Erasmus+ Job Shadowing provides an opportunity for observation and hands-on experience for a specified period. This program contributes to individuals’ professional and personal development while also providing them with international experiences.

How Does the Job Shadowing Process Work?

Application Process:

Participants apply for Erasmus+ On-the-Job Training participation. Applications must be submitted several months in advance to allow for planning and matching.

Matching and Planning:

Erasmus Mobility Academy evaluates the applications and matches the results with suitable workplaces. Participants enter into a planning system for the duration and scheduling of their on-the-job training.

Observation:

Participants gain observation and experiences at the selected workplace for a specified period. During this process, they communicate with professionals in the workplace and get acquainted with the work culture.

Evaluation and Feedback:

The observation process is reviewed jointly by the participants and workplaces. Feedback allows systems and workplaces to improve their collaboration.

Certificate and Registration:

Following a successful job shadowing process, participants receive a certificate from the workplaces. Additionally, it is important to fill out registrations to stay informed about future programs.
